Sidewinder works with the customer to create custom vehicles for the needs of that individual, whether it’s for leisure or mobility. Here are some examples of the specialty conversions or jobs Sidewinder has done.

In 2007, Sidewinder installed a cage like barrier into a Chevy Uplander. This barrier was made for the Aim High association, using steel and Plexiglas which separated difficult rear passengers from each other, as well as the rear passengers from the front of the vehicle.

Sidewinder installed a pair of MPD hand controls on Polaris Ranger RZR.

Sidewinder installs lifts on RVs, whether it be a full wheelchair lift, or a coach lift. Coach lifts are handy for people who have troubles walking up stairs, but don’t need a lift to carry an entire wheelchair. The chair is easily removable for comfortable travel, and the Coach lift adapts to all RVs.

This 2007 Ford E-350 had quite an extensive conversion on it. The entire interior was completely custom, as well as additions to the exterior. A raised roof with eighteen wired in lights was installed, as well as custom checker plate running boards and custom gas and diesel aircraft aluminum gas caps. Also included on the exterior is a shore power outlet allowing the vehicle to be plugged into a building, as well as a filler hose for the toilet inside the van, and a waste tank drain below the drivers side running board.

The interior included custom cabinets, a bathroom, flat screen tv with playstation 2, a control panel that included an inverter, controls to the heater for the diesel tank as well as controls for the compressor, custom floor, valance lighting, custom leather, power seats with heat and lumbar control, custom A pillar with new gauges, satellite phone, backup camera, gell cell batteries and much more.
